Maribago

May and Aria relaxing by the spa

Last November 2012, my daughter Aria and I accompanied my wife May to a training workshop in Maribago, Cebu. We got to stay in the magnificent Bluewater Resort where the training was being held. So while my wife was busy monitoring, Aria and I got to enjoy the resort and roam around Cebu.

Upon arriving, Aria immediately proceeded to one of the 3 pools in the resort

The resort's Amuma spa

The resort has a rotonda where they adorned it with this cool Christmas display made out of bamboo poles, textiles and parols.

The resort is very close by the beach, so aside from the pools, you can go swimming in their lagoon. You can also eat and drink at their seaside bar lounge and restaurant

On the second day of our stay, we hired a cab for a quick tour around the city. One of the places that we visted was the famous Chinese Temple.

We also dropped by Magellan's Cross and the Sto. Niño Basilica where I took this image of a white Parol Christmas tree in the church courtyard.

We also went to Taboan to buy dried danggit, dilis and pusit.

Next stop was the Allegro guitars where workers make the guitars right in the backyard

Tying the guitar was the old way of shaping it to its present shape

On the way back to the resort, we dropped by Lapu-lapu's shrine

Upon returning at the resort, it was beach time again. Aria posed by the bar lounge above before plunging in.

The rotonda Christmas decor was lit at night where people posed and took pictures. Such a lovely memento of a beautiful and relaxing place before we went back home.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures folks!
