Got invited to watch the 2009 La Loma Lechon Festival by Mr. Monchie Ferreros (of Monchie's Lechon) together with some camera buddies.  Mr. Ferreros  initiated this parade when he was the president of the the La Loma Lechoneros Association. The "Parada ng Lechon"  officially started in the year 2000 and has become a popular annual event held every third Sunday of May. Together with the support of Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte,  La Loma has also been declared the official Lechon Capital of the Philippines.
