Last April 2012, Olympus together with National Bookstore/Powerbooks sponsored a Free Basic Photography Workshop entitled "Going Lite" conducted by yours truly. Well, it wasn't really a workshop but more of a seminar as we were only allotted three hours to hold it. Still the enthusiastic participants were very much happy with the gained knowledge and were clamoring for more.

There were 2 sessions. The first one was held at Powerbooks in Greenbelt 4 Makati where there were around 60 participants. The second one was held at the Bestseller store in Robinson's Galleria Q.C, where the participants reached 80! Good thing I had the support of Red Dot Philippines and NBS and both sessions worked out pretty darn well.

I had held basic Photo classes before but these two had plenty of participants. It was fun teaching them especially those who were very eager to learn photography that they stayed behind with lots of questions. I hope Olympus sponsors more of these classes in the future.
