Bencab Museum
Painting at the reception counter..
Unknown to most Baguio visitors, the Bencab museum is one of Baguio's beautiful and exciting tourist attractions. It's a place to appreciate both art and nature. Located along the Asin road, this museum houses the permanent collection of Philippine National Artist Benedicto Cabrera (BenCab), his paintings, his collections of indigenous Cordillera art and the works of Filipino masters and contemprary artists.
Aside from the galleries in the museum, there is also a coffee shop called Cafe Sabel at the lower level for those seeking organic treats. A garden with a duck pond backdropped against a hill full of trees will greet you at the back. Also in the area is an organic farm with an aviary of local and imported fowl and a mini-forest with an eco-trail. Souvenirs are available at the Museum Shop.
